YouTube Money Calculator

Estimate daily, monthly, and annual YouTube revenue from monthly views and your RPM. Use an illustrative niche range if your RPM is unknown.

Actual YouTube earnings vary. RPM samples are illustrative, not guaranteed payouts. Use your measured channel RPM whenever available.

YOUR NUMBERSNo login needed

Let’s do the math.

Enter manual RPM in this currency. If RPM is blank, the niche model uses a separate illustrative currency baseline.

Revenue per 1,000 views in the selected currency. Leave blank to use the niche model.

THE FORMULA

Monthly revenue = monthly views ÷ 1,000 × RPM

RPM translates views into an estimate

RPM is the revenue amount per thousand views under the reporting definition you use. Multiply monthly views divided by 1,000 by that amount. Use a measured RPM from the same format, reporting period, and revenue scope as your view total. This is an estimate rather than an account balance or a payment forecast.

Manual RPM or an illustrative niche range

A manual RPM takes priority, including zero. If you leave it blank, the calculator uses a currency-specific illustrative range adjusted by the selected niche. These model ranges have not been verified as current YouTube benchmarks. Niche, audience geography, seasonality, monetization eligibility, and video format can all affect actual earnings.

Daily and annual projections

Daily revenue is the monthly estimate divided by 30; annual revenue is the monthly estimate multiplied by 12. These projections assume steady performance. They do not model channel growth, fluctuating demand, revenue adjustments, platform deductions beyond those represented in your RPM, or currency conversion. Use the separate Shorts tool for a Shorts-specific RPM.

A WORKED EXAMPLE

From inputs to insight.

At 1,000,000 monthly views and a manually entered $3 RPM, estimated monthly revenue is $3,000. The 30-day daily average is $100, and a year of identical months would total $36,000.

Results depend on the accuracy and definitions of your inputs. Campaign performance varies by audience, niche, content format, geography, and attribution method. These tools provide estimates and context, not guarantees.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions

Is RPM the same as advertiser CPM?

No. This tool expects creator revenue per thousand views. Advertiser CPM describes advertising cost or revenue per thousand ad impressions under a different reporting basis; substituting it can overstate creator revenue.

Which input takes priority: niche or manual RPM?

Manual RPM takes priority whenever it is entered, including zero. Clear it to use the illustrative niche range.

Does this include sponsorship income?

It only models the revenue included in your RPM. Brand deals should be estimated separately with the YouTube Sponsorship Calculator, rather than added implicitly to platform revenue.

Does every view earn revenue?

Not necessarily. Monetization eligibility and the reporting definition of RPM matter. Use an RPM calculated over a comparable set of views instead of assuming a fixed payment for every view.

Does changing currency convert my RPM?

No. Enter manual RPM in the selected currency. The optional model uses separate illustrative baselines for each currency rather than exchange-rate conversion.
